Department Superlatives

After completing her Ph.D. and NSF fellowship at Pennsylvania State University, Megan Steves (Chemistry '17) is now a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.  She recently received a 2024 Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship for her project entitled "Sub-millisecond widefield detection for single-molecule microscopy, spectroscopy and dynamics."

Congratulations to Nick Tay (Chemistry '14) on the publication, in Science, of research he conducted in synthetic organic chemistry, in support of better PET scan imaging!  Nick is now in a post-doctoral position at Columbia University.  Read about his research at:

Gloria Igihozo (Biochemistry '19) shared her courageous dreams for the future in the September 2017 edition of The Swinging Bridge magazine.  Gloria studied public health for women in rural Rwanda through her master's program at the Univesrity of Global Health Equity and is now a Ph.D. student at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
