Looking for a new book to read?
Bookshelf is located inside the main entrance of Murray Library and houses the new books and recreational reading collection. Friends contributed to the purchase.

 

Friends purchased a bookshelf for Murray Library, which houses the new books and recreational reading materials.  Located right inside the library's main entrance, come take a seat and enjoy a good book with a cup of coffee!

Logo for the Bridge to Freedom Collection

 

The Bridge to Freedom Children's Collection was established with the generous donation of children's books from Dr. Todd, Lonette, and Bryce Allen in the fall of 2021.  The collection provides educational resources for children centered on the Civil Rights Movement and other historical experiences with themes of equality, freedom, justice, and reconciliation.  
In 2022, Friends purchased four pieces of artwork from R. Michelson Galleries for the Bridge to Freedom Children's Collection room.
