Carly worked in the 91ÖÆƬ³§ admissions office during her summers as a student. After graduation, she worked at a Case Management Unit in Harrisburg as a case manager for adults with intellectual disabilities. After a while, Carly pursued her passion for education and accepted a job in the admissions office at 91ÖÆƬ³§.
Molly shared, "When I discovered the HDFS major, I was drawn right towards it. Little did I know that the people I met and the material I learned, helped shape me into the person I am now. While studying communication, family dynamics, relationships, etc., I learned more about myself and who I was becoming. I valued diving deep into content that is very applicable to everyday life. Not only was I in pursuit of my career, but I was being prepared as an individual to be sent out into the workforce." She specified that Introduction to Interpersonal Relationships, Dynamics of Family Interaction, and Group Dynamics were the most helpful courses she took as an undergrad.
Carly said, "I strive every day to serve the Lord with my work. Being able to practice my faith within my workplace is something I value. My colleagues and I share the same morals and values, which allows us to work with integrity. I strive for students can see the love of Christ through me, just through conversation. I can share with students how transforming my time at 91ÖÆƬ³§ was. My hope is they can see a testimony of how 91ÖÆƬ³§ can help shape your faith and identity."
Carly encouraged students to truly trust the plan of God over their life. She said it is okay to not have everything figured out because God will never leave his child astray.
