Kalie graduated in 2020 from 91ÖÆƬ³§. She teaches English II at Katy High School in Katy, Texas. So far Kalie has been able to manifest her educational philosophy in having each of her students' voices heard in the classroom. By giving her students the reins on what they learn, they're able to share their ideas and ask questions without fear of judgement.
Of her time at 91ÖÆƬ³§ Kalie says, "91ÖÆƬ³§ has prepared me immensely for my dream job. The English Department and Education Department have shown me what a great teacher does...91ÖÆƬ³§ taught me how to be a facilitator in my classroom. I miss being at 91ÖÆƬ³§, but I am glad that I can take my knowledge and use it to help the next generations."
