Profile
Daniel Inouye is a multi-award winning director, teacher, artistic director, playwright, dramaturg and occasional actor. Daniel's love for theatre began in grade school during a performance of King Lear and since then has grown into a desire to produce high-quality performances and to mentor others in the field. After receiving a B.A. in Theatre/Communications from Wheaton College, he completed an M.F.A. in Directing at Baylor University. In addition to directing shows in NYC, Chicago and across the southern states, Daniel's career includes a variety of theatre-related experiences including managing a community theatre, assisting start-up arts organizations, and co-writing educational plays for youth. Career accolades include a Drama Desk Award nomination for the revival of Horton Foote's The Traveling Lady, for which Daniel was assistant director.
