Bonnie Sypolt, Ed.D.

Education

Dr. Sypolt began her academic journey at Seton Hill University, where she earned her degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. Her passion for teaching led her to the Harrisburg School District, where she taught at both the elementary and middle school levels.

After earning an M.Ed. and Principal Certification from California University, Dr. Sypolt transitioned into school leadership. She went on to serve as the Elementary Assistant Principal at Commonwealth Charter Academy for seven years, before becoming Principal of Cougar Academy and HVAL (Harrisburg Virtual Learning Academy) within the Harrisburg School District for three years.

Dr. Sypolt serves as Assistant Principal at Linglestown Middle School in the Central Dauphin School District. Her commitment to continuous professional growth is reflected in her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, where her research focused on character education. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Sypolt is dedicated to fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students and staff.

Bonnie currently resides in the Harrisburg area with her husband Matthew and two sons.
